Transparency

We want to be open about who we are, so our motives are clear.

We are volunteers and do not receive any money personally for engaging in this work. We do work in concert with Alaskan nonprofits engaged on the same issues and sometimes collaborate on projects funded by them. 

We all live, work and play on Dena'ina lands in Anchorage, Alaska. 

• Aurora Roth: PhD student, earth scientist, local utility nerd. **Disclosure: Her dad, Mitchell, has run for the Chugach Board in the past, but is not running this year.

• Gabby Markel: Artist and community organizer. Self employed consultant in the film industry in the summer. 

• Nick Crews: Software engineer with an interest in politics.
